ACTUARIAL SERVICES
Members of the Liability and Workers’
Compensation programs are provided with their estimated outstanding
liabilities and funding rates within their selected self-insured retention
at no additional cost.
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
Members can request certificates of
insurance by fax, phone, or on-line.
CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION
PERMA provides in-house claims
administration under the Liability program and a TPA of choice under the
Workers’ Compensation program. On-line access is available.
CLAIMS AUDITS
Claim audits for the Liability and Workers’
Compensation programs are conducted on a biannual basis.
LEXIPOL
PERMA subscribes to Lexipol for the
development of law enforcement policies.
POLICY LIBRARY
Members have access to a resource library
which includes best practices policies and procedures.
REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAINING COSTS
Members are reimbursed 75% of actual
expenses incurred for conducting training of their staff on risk
management matters to a maximum of $3,000 per fiscal year.
RISK CONTROL SERVICES
PERMA contracts with Bickmore Risk Services
for risk control services. Members have access to an array of consulting
and training services, which can be accessed on the PERMA website in a
menu-style format with the associated point value. Each member is
allocated a certain amount of points to select the services desired.
SMALL CLAIMS COURT APPEARANCES
Liability claims staff will appear in Small
Claims Court on the member’s behalf.
SUBROGATION
Members may choose to have PERMA pursue
recovery of damages owed from third parties.
VIDEO RENTALS
Members have access to a library of over
10,000 safety videos.
